Yesterday CIRCLE released a major report on youth 18-to-29 years old who have not (yet, in some cases) gone to college. This group encompasses 42% of the resident youth population, but, we find, are provided with few opportunities to engage.

Join a Twitter chat about this topic on Monday, August 27th at 3pm EDT, using the hashtag #YouthTruth. You can also follow CIRCLE at @CivicYouth. We’ll discuss your reactions and implications from the report, answer questions about the research, hear from organizations working in communities with youth who are not in college and talk about what IS going on that people can support.

CIRCLE is running a #YouthTruth campaign to counter myths about young Americans, such as the widespread beliefs that youth are mostly college students or that they have uniform experiences and attitudes as a generation.
