Based on the National Election Study 1972-2002, the General Social Survey 1972-2002, the 2004 National Youth Survey, the Social Capital Survey, 2002, the IEA Civic Education Study, 2002, and The Civic and Political Health of the Nation Survey, 2002. Summarizes young people’s attitudes toward three groups that are sometimes targets of intolerance: gays, immigrants, and racial minorities.
