Following the release of “All Together Now: Collaboration and Innovation for Youth Engagement,” the report of our Commission on Youth Voting and Civic Knowledge, we have developed a series of materials to help different stakeholders in these fields share and discuss the report’s findings and recommendations.

One of the main messages of All Together Now is that many people have responsibilities related to civic education, and previous resources have been aimed at civic leaders, education associations, and higher education leaders.

Our latest resource is an individual reflection guide for teachers, who play such an important role in civic education and deserve our support.  The guide is intended to provide an opportunity for civics and government teachers to react to the findings in our Commission report about youth voting and civic knowledge and consider how they may implement or advocate for the report’s recommendations about civic education in the classroom.

Teachers may also want to consider joining our free, open online seminar that will extend the conversation around our Commission report and strategies for improving civic education and engagement.
